Reperti

“Remains” is a field exploration of the traces left by the Second World War. It’s a kind of archeological research of remnants, rests and testimonies, a survey of different places, landscapes and objects:  scattered signs left over by the front crossing the region. Some are preserved because institutions or singles took care of them, some others are found by chance, forgotten in the woods or covered by vegetation. I photograph these remains in large format color film, looking for their contemporary meaning and trying to save them from oblivion.
